Mushroom Identification Hall

Located in the Yachats Pavilion - Open 10 - 5pm on Saturday and 10  - 4pm on Sunday

The Mushroom Identification Hall is a fun venue for diving into hands-on mushroom learning.

Browse the live display tables, where hundreds of mushrooms found in the local area are displayed and identified. 

Check out soil and mushroom spores and learn about the microscopic aspect of mushrooms with our soil scientist. 

Talk to mycologists and mushroom nerds who will bedazzle you with fun mushroom knowledge.  

Attend a 5-minute University mushroom talk, held throughout the day, where you will learn mushroom basics, interesting facts about specific mushroom species, and be able to ask questions from mushroom professors and seasoned foragers. 

Talk to the Lincoln County Mycological Society, Cascade Mycological Society, and North American Truffling Society where you can learn how to become a member and continue your mushroom learning all year long.
